I am trained as a family and couples therapist and will graduate as a trauma therapist in December 2025. I have also completed studies in solution-focused and cognitive short-term therapy and work as a cognitive short-term therapy method supervisor. Additionally, I hold EMDR Level I training, which enhances my expertise in trauma therapy. I have over 10 years of experience in mental health work across various contexts. I have worked in psychiatric specialty care with adults, children, adolescents, and families, in child protection systemic teams, and in neuropsychiatric rehabilitation for children and adolescents. Additionally, I have spent the past two years developing mental health and substance abuse services in the Ostrobothnia region. In this development work, I have had the opportunity to train mental health professionals in short-term therapeutic methods. I am bilingual and fluent in English, having lived in England for several years, which allows me to serve a broader client base.
