Short-term therapy

Short-term therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on rapid and goal-oriented problem-solving. It is typically a brief process, often lasting between 5 to 20 sessions, during which specific issues or goals are addressed, such as handling stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship problems.

Short-term therapy is based on the idea that even small changes can have a significant impact on quality of life and that effective support can be provided in a short period. Short-term therapy may utilize various methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or mindfulness-based approaches.

The goal of short-term therapy is to provide clients with tools and strategies they can use in their daily lives and to support rapid and concrete change.
